### Armor and Damage Reduction Overhaul
Due to the nature of the setting, additional defenses are needed, and additional durability is needed for melee characters. as they might struggle in a world and environment that promotes the idea of fighting at range and flight.
The base Armor and Shields table has been updated to also include DR/- (Damage Reduction).

DR/- blocks an amount of slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage equal to the value indicated before the /.
Example: Henry the Merchant is hit by a goblin arrow with a damage of 6 piercing. Because Henry woke up this morning and decided he'd put on some leather armor due to his paranoia, Henry the Merchant has DR 4/-. This value reduces the damage from the arrow to 2 piercing, and Henry takes only 2 damage to his hit point total.
