Your character’s One Unique Thing (their _unique_) is a special feature invented by you, the player, which sets your character apart from every other hero. It is a unique and special trait to your player, and markedly unusual. The intent is that it provides a special flavor to the campaign and can assist the GM in determining how your character can interact with characters and story in the campaign. Some examples of One Unique Things are listed below:
- I can heal every wound and every disease with a touch.
- I'm becoming invisible, and I don't know how to stop it.
- Every time I lose my temper or get enraged, I seem to grow larger and larger.
- My reflection is something different every time, I don't know why and it scares me.
- I'm so pent up with magical energy, when I die I'll become a magic atom bomb that will level the area around me.
- I'm Haunted by strange Constellations. The Night Sky I see is different from the one everyone else sees.
- I don't have a heart, it's actually an infernal engine implanted within me by an Arch Devil.
- I'm not one but two. I'm never sure which of the two I am in the moment.
- I was not born but sewn together by a tailor.
- I can speak to metal.
- I'm the only person raised by a dragon.
- My shadow can go off on it's own. I can't control it.
